Rome II Total War Maxed Out help

Hey gents I'm building a gaming PC specifically for Total War II Rome and I have a question pertaining to the video card. I'll post the build I'm looking to buy and go from there.

CPU:Intel® Core™ i7-4770K 3.50 GHz 8MB Intel Smart Cache LGA1150 (All Venom OC Certified)

HDD:1TB SATA-III 6.0Gb/s 32MB Cache 7200RPM HDD (Single Drive)

MEMORY:8GB (4GBx2) DDR3/1600MHz Dual Channel Memory (Corsair or Major Brand)

OS:Microsoft® Windows 7 Home Premium [+104] (32-bit Edition [+0])

POWERSUPPLY:600 Watts - Standard 80 Plus Certified Power Supply - SLI/CrossFireX Ready

VIDEO:NVIDIA GeForce GTX 760 2GB 16X PCIe 3.0 Video Card

My question is if I switch the video card from a 760 to a 660, would the PC still run the game maxed out and smooth? It's a matter of saving some money, and in the end I just want to play & enjoy this TW game in all its glory :)
Any help or suggestions with this?

  1. If you want to save money change the i7 for an i5 this is unlikely to drop gaming performance at all.
  2. It looks like you are buying through a boutique. I know this is a late reply but I sure hope you didn't get 8 Gb of memory and then buy a 32-bit OS.
