AMD mini ITX build

I'm trying to make an AMD based gaming rig inside a mini ITX mobo and case.

I haven't considered AMD until just now because I'm very unaware of their mini-ITX motherboards.

Would an A8-5600k game well with a GTX 650 Ti Boost?
Planning on playing modern games (BL2, FC3, Bioshock) at med-high settings.
Also i'd like this to be able to play modern games for the next 2 yrs or so.

So does anyone think this AMD build is a good fit? or should I just do an intel based one.

Also I dont care for upgrading this little dude. I just want it to last me a couple of years until I get a real job and put some real power into a build
