Max out Crysis 3

I have a 1440x900 res monitor and im getting extremely low fps in Crysis 3. I have a 3.40 ghz cpu, 7850 2gb, and 8gb ram at the moment. a lot of other games work flawlessly.

im trying to max out crysis 3. what graphics card do you recommend my screen res?

you will never max out Crysis 3 with that GPU.

Crysis is one of those one off games which is incredibly intensive.

What framerate are you shooting for? And when you say Max, do you mean with FXAA, 4xSMAA (best visual quality), or something unnecessary like 8xMSAA?

i7-2600 intel
no clue about ram speed

at least fxaa. with a 40-50 fps

Go 7950+, gtx 660+, or crossfire 7850.
Curious to know your exact cpu.

Sell your HD 7850 and get a GTX 760, that oughtta do it.

Add about 20% to the framerate here by using FXAA (or better yet, 2xSMAA) instead of 4xMSAA and you've hit your target.
