The monitor will primarily be for gaming and watching things online but I do edit films and would need it for that if I needed to do work at home. I was hoping to spend somewhere from around $200 to $400.

Cool thanks, I'll think about it. Do you by chance have any suggestions for good monitors around $150 to $200. I'm starting to realize I'm building my dream computer not the practical one based on how much money I can spend.
