Well im still looking for a job at the age of 16, not having any luck at all. I know how to build computer's and i actually would love to do that for a job. The thing is i have no clue what degree or something to be confirmed to be able to build computers for a company. I don't really wanna take a class where it's teaching you how to remove viruses or working with other software, i just want to take something where it is just getting a degree to build just computers. Another thing i have to say/ask do you need a highschool diploma,g.e.d,etc. I never did finished school for some reason's. Well that's it. If anybody knows anything about this stuff please leave a reply that would help me alot. Thanks for looking and have a great day.

The best path is a lot of mix training. First off most people look to see that you have a plus cirt under your belt to start as In house tech.

With that degree you could get into companies looming for debug and qa failure. Pre product support and product support. Ie ter two support. After that if you get into a big company like Emc that all hardware or IBM you can get them to pay to get your eng deg...

Building computers is fun, but there's no money in it unless you start your own business. Even then it's an over-saturated market competing with companies like Best Buy that are selling inexpensive desktops and laptops. Not to mention the emergence of tablets that have taken a huge chunk away from the pc market.

If its something you really want to do, look for a program called Computer Systems and Networking, or something else along those lines.

Bad side now is in ten years are comp just going to crush and recycle doa products. We see that now with VCR and tv. Few years ago most towns had a local tv and appliance repair person. Most of these mom and pop repair places are gone.
