Belive me, it is not a good build. The 6100 is a bad CPU. The 4870 is ancient and does not support latest Direct X which makes it useless.
Also can you tell the company of the PSU.

Just tell us your budget. We might select a better build for you for the same price. We do this thing like everyday here at TomsHardware Forums.

Im sorry to say, but you are totally wrong. I've seen videos playing BF3 and such games on Ultra High graphic settings using AMD fx-6100 just fine. Also, where did you get such false information that the Sapphire HD 4870 does not support the latest Direct X? As far as i know, i have already USED Dx11 on Crysis and much more games, yes it was slow and laggy but thats an other topic, it supports. 8 gb RAM with 1600MHz performance is not a good build also? Well i already told you, i've seen videos in which people are playing BF3 on ULTRA high graphic settings without ANY lag. AND as far as i know, my Sapphire radeon hd's got 1gb of GDDR5 RAM, 750 Mhz CORE clock which is not so low compared to today's video cards, they've got 1050Mhz 1500 Mhz, mine got (the sapphire) 750MHz, is that really that much of a difference? I dont think so. Take MSI PCIe R7850-1GD5 for an example, its got 1gb of GDDR5 memroy with 850MHz, mine has 750MHz and 1gb of GDDR5 also, and the MSI runs BF3 on ULTRA at 40 - 70 FPS. Now i dont think thats a really big thing. And why are you asking about the brand of my PSU? Lol, you judge performance by company? If its called X then its a load of crap if its Y its the best PSU in the world with 999999W? Thats funny. Either you have false knowledge or you are thinking relatively. In some aspect, yes the 6100 is a bad CPU if you compare it to the Intel Xeon E5-2687W and also yes its a bad build if you compare 128gb of 2400Mhz of rams to a 8gb of 1600MHz rams. Sorry, but i have seen proof of that this build suits today's gaming, and is not a bad build. Also i want to add, that with my current build (AMD Athlon 6000 3.0GHz, 3gb of 373MHz RAM, Sapphire Radeon hd 4870 1gb GDDR5), i used to play Crysis and The Sims 3 on High settings with not so much lag. No offence, but the text under your avatar says you are a CPU expert, and i expect from an expert that he gives me detailed information why my CPU is bad.. I'm sorry to say, but the facts are denying your opinion, i cant accept your offer, sorry. Thanks for the answer though, i appreciate it!

OMG!! You have immense knowledge, you must be praised, and you really do not need any help as you are self sufficient with your knowledge. Keep it up. We need just a few more guys like you in this forum. I really do not know what to say. I am extremely happy that I got a chance to learn from a guy like you.

You really have great knowledge, I am sure that this post must be mistakenly made by you. I mean you do not need advice, do you? No, because the master's don't need advice. So, why am I suggesting something to a guy who has so knowledge and I have nothing compared to you. I praise your knowledge and really appreciate that you talked with me even once.

Now since you won't be needing my help as you are so much self sufficient, I think it is better for me to not discuss anything and just go away.

Sorry that I interrupted someone like you. I apologize, really I do :p

The benchmarks from GPUBoss shows that the performance of the 80 dollar 7770 is better than the super great and the awesome 4870. I am sure the benchmarks are completely wrong and biased. Of course because you said that the 4870 is better, that really means that the 4870 must be better. Anyways, even though the information is wrong (as you might think), I would still leave them down under for you to review. After all we know nothing in front of you. So here they are :

Similar thing happened with the 6100 vs 6300. I am sure the benchmarks must be wrong somewhere. After all, you cannot be ever wrong. You are the master of PC knowledge ( :D  ) after all. How can you be wrong. The site must again be wrong but once again I would leave the benchmarks for you to review. After all the person with the most knowledge must be the one to review it.

So here are the CPU benchmarks :

I am sorry that I interrupted such a big personality. But I really had to :D

Actually, i am going to buy the 6300, but i forgot to mention that. Also i would like to mention, that i did not say my 4870 beats everything, you called it ancient, and i just corrected you out, that its an average - good GPU, never said anything that it beats all other cards. And i have one question, why did you show me benchmarks of 7770? I'm just curious because i never was talking about that, neither were you sooo... anyways yes 7770 is better but there are better cards than 7770 - sorry i can't really reply to that comment - i am aware of that. But hey, dont mean it for offence i really did not mean that, i'm just saying that you either were wrong or you were relative, by now i see that you were just relative so i'm not saying you are a bad guy or stupid, no. I believe you have great knowledge thats why you've got that "CPUs Expert" thing under your avatar. Everyone can make mistakes, we are people arent we? Actually it's getting off topic so back to the CPU and GPU argument, the only problem here was, was that you said 4870 is ancient and by that you made me think it can't run today's games on low graphics and you called my build a bad build but i've seen videos on youtube and i've done a little research about this and i've found out that 6100 is a pretty damn good CPU but everyone was suggesting to get 6300 because its +20 dollars expensiver and so on.. so i choose 6300 and i see you've posted a comparasion between 4780 and 7770 which in fact, 7770 is the better but 4780 is not that ancient. I would not really like to buy a GPU right now because im low on money at the moment, that's why i think it can handle today's games. I know my build is not a sky-touching build with 128 GB of 2400MHz RAM and 6 gb GDDR5 GPU and so on, i just want a build that can handle today's games just well especially sims 3 because practically that's the only game i'm playing, at least i would like to play without lags, so this build i think is enough for Sims 3 because sims 3 graphics is not equal to BF3 ultra settings im pretty sure :p  that's again being relative: what you call a good build. I posted this question because i was not sure if i can run sims 3 without lags. Thanks for the reply!
