Hey Guys,

I've been running through and looking back through the prices of a first build 'gaming pc'. I'm in Australia using MSY for components and just general stores/Ebay for the rest.

My purposes for the PC include gaming on high-max settings, general browsing and possibly later on, some video editing if I decide to head into the world of Youtube. The games I am wanting to play include Arma II/III, BF3/4, Skyrim, ESO, Minecraft, GTA V (if they release it on PC) and some other games/MMO's.

Currently I'm not certain on a budget for the entire build itself however I really only want to spend a maximum of $1400-1500 on the PC itself and hopefully, I want the end result of all the components (monitor, keyboard, new mouse and headset) to be around $2000 give or take. However currently at this point in time I can only cover the actual build (thus the build will most likely not be completed until November/December). I already have a build together that, currently I am happy with (I can post it here in the future if you would like), though I am unsure of a few things regarding the GPU, case, monitor, headset and possibly keyboard.

I came across that MSY had recently stocked a Sapphire 7950 (I'm looking at a MSI 7950) and I'm not sure which would be better, any ideas?

As for the monitor I looked around a little for a good quality one with inbuilt speakers for under $200 and found this (for a little over $200, I thought the webcam was a little bonus). Anything that you know of that is possibly better?

Also been told this is a good monitor?

Sorry for the long text, I tend to just keep typing and not stop, if you could be of any help it would be much appreciated.

(Also, sorry for the repost... I thought it would be better to put it in a more suitable area of the forums)

-Thanks all, brenno29

Sorry if I am confusing everyone but, I already have a general idea of what I want,

"I already have a build together that, currently I am happy with (I can post it here in the future if you would like), though I am unsure of a few things regarding the GPU, case, monitor, headset and possibly keyboard."

I only need help with the GPU and monitor (as well as some other peripherals). I can provide the list of the parts I'm looking at if you all would like.

-Thanks, brenno29
