Planning to upgrade my rig, and which is better? I need a future proof like 5 years before upgrading again

CPU: Intel Core i5-4670k Haswell
RAM: G.Skill Ripjaws X 1600Mhz 8GB (2x4GB)
MB: MSI Z87-GD65 Gaming
GPU: MSI GTX650Ti Boost Gaming Twin Frozr 2GB SLI

Synthetic benchmarks are not really a great way tom compare a cpu in all aspects of usage. Generally speaking the i5 will be slightly better at gaming (there are some titles the FX has a lead) and single threaded applications that will make use of the intel's better IPC (instructions per cycle, its how much work the CPU actually does per cycle) In terms of heavily threaded applications the FX wins hands down and most times finishes in the ranks of the i7's.

I need a processor not only for gaming but for my studies also like Maya 3D. Also for multitasking and for daily use. Which one is best i5-4670k or fx8350?

For those purposed especially the 3D stuff I'd say fo for the FX.
