Hello. I am new to the community but have found lots of help from other peoples' posts before, and it seems like a good community to ask.

I am wanting to upgrade my graphics card for my Dell Vostro 200 MB. I want the best/near the best one available. If possible, around 100$ or less would be preferable, but if I need to spend more for the best card so be it. Also, wpuld like an HDMI out if possible, as that is what my monitor is setup for. (Also has RGB input, but I think the HDMI provides the best available resolution, which is currently 1024/768)

Here are my specs:
- 4gb DDR2 RAM
- 3.0ghz dual core processor (e8400)
- 650 watt seasonic PSU
-Running Windows 7 Home premium 32bit.

My current card is an old radeon 3600 HD. It runs all the games I have tried fairly well, although some with lower/medium settings.

Any and all help would be greatly appreciated, and if you need any more info just let me know! Thanks in advance.

-Cameron

Thanks for the suggestion. Those cards look like they will blow my 3600 away haha. I did want to ask you though, if you could possibly explain the difference? the 7750 has 2 GB of VRAM of ddr3, where as the 7770 is only 1 GB but at GDDR5. I assume the 7770 will be slightly better than the other, but I just want to know why. Also, does the brand/manufacturer of the card make any difference or have any effect? Thanks again for the input.

Actually there are so many cards which can fit in your PC, so it is difficult to list them all.

GDDR5 is faster than DDR3 for the same card, 7770 is faster than 7750, so you see my point.

At this point everything is limited by your budget - $100 is not much to go with, so 7770 card above is a good choice

Or this one even cheaper and basically the same, MSI R7770-PMD1GD5 Radeon HD 7770 GHz Edition 1GB 128-bit GDDR5 $99.99, if rebate works - $84.99 after $15.00 rebate card http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814127687

Anything else I can help you with?

Yes actually! If the ~$100 limit were not applied, what would you then suggest? Regardless of price limitation? And sorry for the late response. I appreciate your reply, I have been busy as of late and forgot my password =/ but all is well now! Thanks in advance

Thank you all for your input. Looks like I will be going with the 7770! It will fit in a mini tower yes? I think I'm going to upgrade my case also but if I buy the card before the case will I run into any problems?

Without even checking, I can state that most 7770 would fit for sure, if you want confirmation, drop here a link to your choice.
No case upgrade is necessary for those reasons!
