Hello folks, I have a few questions here.
I recently just bought a new cpu FX-6300, now I am torn about what mobo I should get.
I don't know much about motherboards so bare with me. Now, for my processor, im thinking about Gigabyte 990fxa ud3, Asus M5a97, and Asrock extreme 3 or 4. My question is, which one is the best option for me? I only plan to crossfire, and maybe do some overclocking in the future. My budget is $130 but prefer to go lower if I find what suits best. Any suggestions for a mobo would be great too. Also would I notice any difference with 990 and 970 versions? I am leaning towards the M5a97 but idk.

With the FX-6300, you probably won't notice the difference between 9-series chipsets as long as the HT speed is the same. Those are all good boards, but I favor the Gigabyte because it has better specs for O/C'ing, Faster PCIe for dual cards, better chipset, more phases,... and because I used to have one.

The Asus equivalent would be: http://www.asus.com/Motherboards/M5A99FX_PRO_R20/
