When I play games, I find that fast paced action causes shadowing or ghosting. I'm not sure what it's called, but the image of what ever was there remains subtly for at the most, half a second. This beginning to annoy me and was wondering if anyone knows of a fix or a better monitor?

In the case of a better monitor, would an IPS have less of this ghosting? Budget is $350 NZD.

My monitor is: 22" AOC e2260Swdn Widescreen LED /1080p with DVI-D
GPU: GTX 670 WF3 OC
If needed,
CPU: 3570K
MOBO: GA Z77X D3H
OS: Windows 8

Thanks for your time and help.

Same thing, although I had to use VGA instead of DVI. I think it might be the monitor causing this.

Just as bad. It seems like the pixels take half a sec to brighten from being dark, but it is less visible the other way round.

I think I'll just put up with it for now. I don't know if you will find this interesting or not, but I used OBS to record the output and the ghosting is visible when played back as a video on my home laptop, desktop, brothers desktop and work laptop. I am now thinking it might just be me.
