Feeling angry for no reason?

Hi everyone!

I know that this is an unusual post, but hey ho.

Basically, every now and then I just get this feeling inside of real anger. Not just anger AT something, but more like anger when doing things.

e.g. I will be reading something perfectly normal, could be anything, but in my head the words will be shouted. It doesnt make ME angry, but the things themselves are? I dont know whether I'm making alot of sense, and for that I apologise...

It used to happen alot when I was a kid (I was bullied alot and had no outlet), but then tailed off when I started high school. I was still bullied, but i coped with it, I dont know. Anyway, now im at work, and even as i type this im reading abck through and the words are literally being shouted in my head.

this feeling normally happens when im under alot of stress, or are ticked off at something, but it isnt me being angry at anything in particular, im actually quite a placid guy, but the things I think and the words I read are shouted inside my head very angrily.

Has anyone else got anything similar to this? Any suggestions as to what it is?

Please can people refrain from posting unhelpful or peetaking messages, they arent read with seriousness and they make you look like an ass to everyone.

Thanks to those who understand.

I've never had anger issues like that but it sounds like you may want to seek the help of a psychologist or psychiatrist. I'm not making fun of you, but this obviously is not a happy way to live. See what a professional says and what sort of help they can offer you.

You said it happens a lot when you're under stress, so maybe you need help on how to cope with high stress situations.

Hi there! Thanks for the reply!

I was actually having one of these 'moments' before I posted this, and it subsided pretty quickly. =) It never normally lasts too long, and it never turns into anything violent or physical (Fact is nobody notices as It doesnt really have a physical effect), it just makes me seem angry inside, if that makes sense? I dont know for sure what brings it on, but I have noticed it more often when I'm under stress for one reason or another.

Thankfully, I have not had another 'moment' since the time of me opening this thread, they do not happen all that often now. They used to alot when I was a kid.

If it happens again, I think I will book an appointment with a psychiatrist. Maybe it's just something stupid that brings it on, I dont know. =) I think my employer has an on site psychiatrist actually, so that's usefu!

Cheers for the help!

Just a side note, I am normally a very posative, 'the glass is half full' person normally, and almost nothing gets under my skin anymore. I learnt my own way on how do deal with anger about halfway through high school and it's stuck ever since. =P
