Hey everyone. Question about gpu cooling here. Any advice would be awesome

I need, or want, to upgrade my gpu cooling. Runs about 85 under load and I don't want it that high. My plan was put new thermal paste on and/or change the cooler on it.

I have a zotac gtx 660 ti that looks like this:

And was thinking about putting this on it instead:

Is this something that would make a difference or even fit on a graphics card? Or am I talking stupid.

Also if you decide to pose other ideas to me, my gpu is vertical and my case has room for something about 3" height, 4" width (in a slim horizontal case, this is from the bottom to top of the case), and 8" length, so its quite small

can you try running your fan at constant 60-80% using msi afterburner and see how it runs.

My gtx670 at 1346mhz runs 61 degrees at full load when I run my fans at 100%.
altho my Asus direct CuII cooler is the quietest out there so the fan isnt audible even at 100%
