Hello there,i recently bought a new graphic's card but for the money i spent,it seems to lack performance...
My specs are:
Motherboard: MSI G31 TM-35
CPU: Intel Celeron Dual-Core @ 2.5
GPU:ASUS HD7750-1GD5-V2 1GB
Engine Clock: 820 MHz.
Memory Clock: 1150 MHz ( 4600 MHz GDDR5 ).
RAMDAC: 400 MHz.

RAM: 4gb
Windows 7 ultimate 32 bit
Even on medium graphic's settings on games and and the gpu already set to best performance rather than better quality i still can't get high enough framerates, maybe my processor is responsible i don't really know that's why i ask you guys to tell me your opinion, should i try overclocking?Or try getting some more money and upgrade my pc in general. (i know it needs an upgrade asap but i can't do much for a while.) I spent around 90 Euro's on the HD7750
What gpu would you recommend me for gaming purposes on max. 150 euros?
Thank you in advance!

Your CPU is terribly underpowered and is holding your GPU back.

So that means if i get a more powerfull cpu,my gpu will perform better.Am i correct?

Yes it will. You may need to do some research on what CPU that board will support as it's quite old. It might also be difficult to pick up a new CPU for it. Just from a quick look at MSI's page for it, it says it supports a maximum of Core 2 quad (but i can'T see what socket it is, you need to find this out)
If you look here: http://eu.msi.com/product/mb/G31TM-P35.html#/?div=CPUSu...
IT is listed the CPU's it supports.

Even a Penthium dual core would make a difference. But personally I'd go with a quad.

Your CPU: its sucks.
Anything that says "Celeron" is basically crap.
Sticking a core 2 series CPU would give you a big boost.

Check your CPU usage in task manager in game. I am sure you will find it at 90+%

Celeron = Sell 'er on..

It does support core 2 quad i already knew that,so i will try to find a core 2 quad Q6600,is it worth it?

Finding out is the fun part of tech.. read some reviews.. compare what you can afford and balance against what performance you'd like. Operating on a budget forces that. If money were no object, you could just go out and buy the fastest biggest computer out there right now and we wouldn't be having this discussion. The fact that we are, say to me that money IS an object. Good. It is for me too.
The shorter answer to your question would be Totally! But not knowing your budget etc. I recommend that you find what's for sale.. read some reviews.. then decide whats best for you.

You did not say what games, what resolution you are testing them on, and what FPS you are getting that you are not happy with. The 7750 is a budget video card, do not expect to get past Medium settings in new games with it, even with a fast CPU and lower resolutions.

For the price, the 7750 is the best card in it's class, but your CPU is not fast enough for it, and you may have unreasonable expectations for what it can do. "High enough" is what exactly? Like saying "I want some money". 10 cents is "some", but you may be looking for a few thousand.

You're right..
My resolution is 1360x768
ex. at League of Legends with high environment quality and everything else medium/low and no shadows average is around 50fps,top-up is 60,and sometimes it drops to 45 maybe lower
Need for Speed world with high details is around 45
Modern Warfare 2 seems a bit choppy sometimes
TERA is around 15 fps(wth?)

Those framerates don't seem bad at all especially considering your poor CPU.

+1^ agree with the above post, with that CPU, that card looks to be working as it should be. I have a Q6600 in my main system, and it runs games very well, although my video card is faster than a 7750.

Get a faster CPU and you have a very good chance of improvement in games, although keep in mind that the 7750 is still a lower end gaming card, even if you get the fastest CPU on the planet, it will be somewhat limited in what you should expect. Also not all games are equal with how they scale to CPU and GPU power, some games may go up in speed quite a bit with a faster CPU, some may only a little. I doubt you will see NO increase in speeds, but it could be likely that it would be small in some games.

In any case, a faster CPU first is in order to help you, after that if you don't like what you get, go for a faster video card, you should see a difference with a 7770 which could be found for about $100 now for some models, although it is usually not a good idea to spend for a whole new card that is only one level over what you already have. You are also running at a pretty low resolution for a gaming card, the 7750 should run great at your resolution at medium settings with a faster CPU.

When you do get your new CPU - don't forget to benchmark it, also in some of the games you want to run.
Then drop the new one in and test the difference.
In my opinion, with a new CPU, you should be able to run just about anything with full settings at that resolution. (yes i said that!)
