can I replace a HDD with 3 GB/s (WD Caviar BlueWD6400AAKS) with a newer WD Black (WD2002FAEX) with 6 GB/s ? Could this give compatibility problems or is the only issue that I just will not benefit from the Black´s higher capacity due to limitations of my motherboard etc. ?

Moving from a Blue drive to a Black drive will give you quite a performance boost, under some circumstances, but that won't be due to the interface. It's just that the Black drives are performance drives while Blue drives are mainstream. You'll probably boot a lot faster and load certain programs faster, but some programs won't be affected at all. Loading documents probably won't be noticeably affected, either.

The capacity of the larger drive won't be a bother, since it is still under the the 2047GB BIOS limitation. 2TB drives are about 1860GB of usable space. 3TB drives would give you problems, if you have a BIOS based systems instead of UEFI.
