I need to replace my HD 5970. I am looking at either the 770 (4GB version) or 780. I am quite sure i will need to run SLI since I wish to maintain a 60 fps average using crysis 3 as an extreme example. So my question is should i go for two 770's, one 780 or two 780's? Two 780's only if it really beats sli 770 by a large margin. Below is some data i've read but would like to hear from actual owners and other readers. I think sli 770 is the best bet but please discuss. Thank you.

Data
770 x 1 $460
770 x 2 $920
780 x 1 $660
780 x 2 $1320

If you can afford 2, 780s then by all means that's the route. But are you using single monitor or more than 1. Also what resolution are you playing at? If you're using one monitor and it's 1080p then you'll be fine with one 770 or 780. Then you can add another later on if you really want.

SLI 770's is the best bang for the buck though in my opinion. Like I said before you can start off with one and easily get another if you decide so.
