Looking for BEST MB for gaming system

I'm 50 years old and handicapped and would like to build a new gaming system; something to help pass the time.
I've been reading a lot of reviews on different components but do not know which motherboard is best for me.
Firstly, I am interested in the following boards:
- Asus Z87 Sabertooth,
- Asus Z87-X Gryphon,
- Gigabyte Z87X-UD5H
- MSI Mpower.

I'm planning on purchasing an Intel 4670K with at least 16MB of ram and with some help overclock to at least 4.0.

It would be much appreciated if someone could recommend one of these mentioned boards or suggest something different. Any help would be gratefully appreciated.

Finally, I felt I should mention, is it worth upgrading to Haswell or just go with Ivy Bridge?
