Need help with power cables please from the power supply please.

Hello I am building a gaming computer and am in the process of connecting cables I was connecting two 4pin power cables in a 8 pin thing on the motherboard and one goes in smooth while the other rubs up against it and wont go in all the way...help?

Yeah I have tried searching just about everywhere and have yet to find anything but I will keep looking thanks.

What exactly is it rubbing against? Provide a picture if possible, I mean that PSU should work with no problems with that motherboard unless maybe you have the connector facing the wrong way.
