Is there a way to force install nvidia display drivers, on windows xp, without a system/inf check? The driver(s) I wish to download is version 93.71.
Basically I know my system meets the requirements. The problem is that the installer is checking for specs, but the hardware information my computer sends is different than that it actually has (which I need to run some other additions).
Before I get the myriad of answers I know I'm going to get, I would like to establish that I don't want the 'standard' tech answers, such as:
clean registry, reinstall windows xp, update windows, defrag, re-download the driver, etc.
Sorry if I sound obnoxious, but I'm tired of people giving the same answers over and over again across the web (and over the phone). It's frustrating beyond belief.
I'm proficient in the use of Mac and Windows, currently learning my way through Ubuntu, am versed in some front end code, and have set up networks before, so I don't need my hand held. If I have to get into the registry with a hex editor I will.
