So, I recently built a new computer which has pretty high specs compared to the old one;

Processor: Intel core i5-3570 @ 3.40GHz
RAM: Kingston hyperX 8GB 1600Mhz DDR3
Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-Z77P-D3 S1155 DDR3 SATA6
Graphics card: Nvidia GeForce GT 520 (from the old computer)

But some of my games are running painfully slow fps, anything between 10-25 fps. These are games like Assasins Creed II, Deus Ex, Skyrim and Arma II at least (haven't checked more yet).

My Counter Strike: Source is running only at 40-60 fps and this is driving me crazy, it's as bad as it was with my old comp. maybe 5 fps better..

Could it be because of the Geforce GT 520 only? I have installed the latest drivers on it though.

Please help :??:

Yes, its because of the gpu, dosent even matter you bought a new pc, gpu is the single most important component for gaming.

Get a new one 520 iS sh!t for any modern game.
