You'll want a Corsair PSU, 2*4gb sticks a generic Optical drive (unless you watch Blu rays), get a corsair h100i, they're the best all in one cooler. And perhaps a 7950 GPU?

Oh, and you have a hard drive? Don't bother getting a heatsink stick with the stock one till you can afford an AIO.

With the Graphics Card you listed, and with that motherboard. am i able to connect the card i listed earlier too? into the second pci?

No, however the 760 is better than the 7870, and if you want to SLI them, you'd have to get another PNY 760.

Is that how it is with all cards? you can only double the same cards?

Jonathan, i copied and pasted the wrong motherboard, but with the motherboard you said would it run anything like bf3, bf4, farcry 3, crysis 3, etc. on high or max with 60 fps while recording with fraps?
August 3, 2013 5:15:15 PM

No. Motherboards dont affect performance, however that will allow you to get a higher overclock which leads to higher performance.
August 3, 2013 5:21:31 PM

But would those PC specs run almost everything on high or max +60 fps with fraps recording? i msged you the specs i chose, and i found the motherboard you wanted in the text above.
August 3, 2013 5:25:40 PM

Yes of course, you can overclock the GPU as well to get better performance.
August 3, 2013 5:35:17 PM

Would this card be better?

EVGA SuperClocked 02G-P4-2765-KR GeForce GTX 760 2GB 256-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 SLI Support w/ EVGA ACX Cooler Video Card Item #: N82E16814130932Return Policy: VGA Standard Return Policy
$259.99
August 3, 2013 5:39:28 PM

Yes, but you can overclock it yourself. Essentially a "superclocked" GPU is slightly overclocked.
