Your original build doesn't include a HDD

Im assuming your budget was $1000 and that you want to overclock:

Then use AMD, it just depends on what you want. We can't force you to get Intel because we think its better.

I respect your opinion, but it is a fact that intel's are better in gaming. However Amd would be better for you if you did a LOT of multitasking or video encoding/editing. And by a LOT of multitasking I mean a lot of multitasking.

ok, well lets not fight now. and i do more than game on pc. i edit, code, etc. But if you could recommend a cheap intel that could run everygame around 60 fps with fraps recording i may get an intel. And thanks loc for the monitor link,

Hm, if you doing more than gaming than the 6100 isn't a bad choice. the gpu is way more important than the cpu in most games. an i5 is a sweetspot for price/performance. but if your only going to spend around 100 for a cpu a 6100 has a slight edge over an i3 which cost about he same.

Could anyone recommend a $700 ish intel gaming PC with windows 8? that runs almost all games new and old (and games like BF4, COD:Ghosts) than i would probably switch over to intel from AMD.

Games are more graphics card dependant. But the cpu does still make a difference. BF4 hasn't came out yet and it's part of the next gen of games. And if you want to make a machine that can max games like that your going to need more than 700 dollars weather you're using AMD or Intel.

I'm about to buy a pc myself for 1500 :)
I just get the stuff like Intel i5 4670K and Evga Geforce gtx 760 SC w/ Acx cooling
Since i might overclock if it gets slow which it won't but just being safe.
