Hi,

I've been wanting to build a gaming PC for years and as I am 18 in a few weeks i thought now would be the best time, currently I have an 1.8ghz, 2gb RAM PC that I've had for about 6 years and now would be the best time to upgrade.

My budget is £800 but i can stretch to as much as £1000 but that would mean waiting till next payday,

What I would want the PC to do is play all of the best games out there at the moment at Ultra settings with 60+ FPS as well as using video editing software such as Sony Vegas. I will be using dual 24" monitors as well. I am not sure whether an SSD would be beneficial in my price range as I hear they can be quite pricey and also I am not too sure on which would be the best Graphics card for my price range, I've looked at the 660ti, 760, 7950 and the 7970 and I think I've chose the most bang for buck GPU but I'm probably completely wrong...
I have tried my best to come up with a decent PC for as cheap as I can but I'm new to all this and it might not be the best so any improvements and advice would be greatly appreciated :)
