Hi all i'm saving up for a new graphics card at the moment and decided to get AMD's 7950 but not sure which brand to get could anybody help me out choose.

By the way i have a 1650 x 1080 monitor, so just wondering if a 7950 be ok for next gen game and maxing the setting out of them on my monitor?

I'd also like a graphics card that has really good cooling.

Thanks :)

Get the Sapphire HD 7950 Vapor X OC w/ Boost http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B009MML1UA/ref=as_li_q... I've had 3 sapphire cards including 2 7950's and they have all run like beasts.

the sapphire 7950's are very powerful. i have an asus 7950 and its been working great so far. get either a sapphire or an asus.

pretty sure the older voltage unlocked 7950's are still the best. all the current ones are voltage locked which limits overclocks. if i had a choice, it would be any reference design voltage unlocked card so i could water block and shoot for 1350mhz +/- which would put it at 7970ghz edition level. none of the newer 7950 will go any higher than 1200mhz and are usually ideal at around 1150mhz.

that said, any of the popular brands with custom coolers are going to be fine, they are all boost bios anyways. i have an msi twin frozr 3, but the gigabyte windforce 3 is great, so is the vapor x and the asus direct2. i run 1150mhz/1550mem and cant get over 67c, which sucks because i would be totally ok with 72-75c if i could add voltage, but the cards are very quiet and hardly noticable.
