Alternative to this motherboard?

I was wondering if the msi z87 g-45 is a good motherboard. Or if there was a better motherboard on the market for around the same price. Maybe asus or something. I'm making my own gaming rig, and want the motherboard to have built in, high quality ethernet. I want it to be able to support high mhz in memory. And in general, it has to be a good, solid motherboard around $170 or so. Thanks
