Hello guys :)

Through all the research i did, i finally chose all the components that are reviewed good from people in general and that will perform good. But, the total of everything end up to be 1800$ :( I'm trying to see if it's possible to change some components just to aim for 1500$ instead of 1800$...

Specs list:

232$ CPU: Intel Core i5-4670K
90$ CPU Cooler: Thermaltake Water 2.0 Extreme 81.3 CFM Liquid CPU Cooler
193$ Motherboard: Asus Z87-PRO ATX LGA1150 Motherboard
79$ RAM: Corsair Vengeance Pro 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1600 Memory
185$ SSD: Samsung 840 Series 250GB 2.5" Solid State Disk
59$ Hard Drive: Seagate Barracuda 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive
260$ Video-card: EVGA GeForce GTX 760 2GB Video Card
158$ Case: Cooler Master Storm Stryker (White) ATX Full Tower Case
160$ Power Supply: Corsair 760W 80 PLUS Platinum Certified
56$ Optical Drive: Asus BC-12B1ST/BLK/B/AS Blu-Ray Reader, DVD/CD Writer
227$ Monitor: Asus MX239H 23.0" Monitor
115$ Keyboard: Corsair Vengeance K70 Wired Gaming Keyboard

Total: 1814$ ...

I think the CPU cooler is a steal since it's only 90$ compared to 120$. because other brands sell them for 120$ ... And I plan to overclock the CPU so thats why I want a good cooler.

I chose i5 CPU just to not spend an extra 100$ for the i7. (some people could say, that I could choose a 50$ case and increase performance adding the other 100$ to CPU lol or not even choosing i7, but I want a beautiful case)

Apparently, for the motherboard, it was the best choice for the money and I like ASUS and I also like the wifi idea..

About SSD, I'm really not sure. People say that your Computer will boot faster and it will be another "experience user".. but is it really worth the 185$ for 250GB??? I mean, this is about 200$ added to the total of the computer... Tell me what you guys think about it?

About the Power supply, I really don't know which one to choose. People in general, say Seasonic and Corsair are good brands for PSU, but Seasonic is not cheap at all. I don't even know the difference between AX, HX, TX, GS, with Corsair PSUs... And since the price between them are not so different. like 130 for HX 120 for GS and 150 for AX, why not the little extra $ for a platinum PSU?

I know the keyboard is overpriced, but I was looking for a good-looking keyboard. Can you guys suggest anything? :D

Thank you so much for helping :)

Would this be US dollars?

I can tell you right off the bat though, that you could

lower the SSD to 120 or 128GB. As well as lowering the PSU

to around 550-600W Bronze. If you then opt for a non-K edition CPU, you

can forfeit a CPU cooler as a consequence too. Saved a lot right there.

hell, you could make a good gaming pc for 500. But if you got 1500 id def go ahead and get a gtx 970 NOT a gtx 760. also DONT get a seagate hard drive, get a WD blue 1tb. If you want to save money, get a ~120gb ssd, and also cheaper monitor/keyboard. I only spent $200 on a monitor, and $30 on a keyboard, and i love my setup. And i agree with Night owl on a non-k version intel cpu, like an i5 4690, and then ditching the water cooler for an good regular heatsink. But i would absolutely stick with that psu. With that extra money, get some better case fans, and maybe some LEDs to make your setup look ballin
