Hi, I am a newbie to PC building and I would like to build one that can run most games on high - ultra settings. Right now I currently play Planetside 2 and World of tanks.

I honestly don't know where to start for this so any advice or builds would be greatly appreciated to get me started. My price range is $750- $1000, would love to be under $1000
I have a keyboard, mouse, and headset that i can use. I will be needing a monitor and maybe some speakers.

Thanks

UPDATE
Ok after some research last night I have put together some parts. Let me know what you guys think.

(I need a PSU and a CPU Cooler)
The video card comes with the CPU in a package, its called a AMD Radeon HD 7660D (couldn't find it on pcpartpicker)
Heres a link to the CPU + GPU package: http://www.newegg.com/Product/ComboDealDetails.aspx?ItemList=Combo.1396557

No point in getting a GTX 760 when the 7950's are on a huge sale.

This will kill everything. Especially if you overclock that 7950.

That looks nice, maybe add a SSD?
I also need a monitor and speakers if you guys have any knowledge on those.

I agree, get a 7950. The price just dropped like $80 on all of them. If you want an SSD, go with a SanDisk 32GB... its only $40 you can't go wrong with that. For monitors, I like BenQ or AOC. I personally don't really like SSDs though because I had a bad experience with one (OCZ, although they've improved recently) but that's just me. It was great while it lasted I'll tell you that much. But, I disagree with that other guy. The APU's graphics are decent for 720p gaming with medium settings and are roughly equivalent to console graphics + like 10fps or so. I'm not saying for you to get an APU though if you want to run games on high an APU won't cut it. You can save some money by buying a cheaper case, although case selection is entirely your preference, you can get a case from Fractal with similar look and save a few dollars.
