Hi
I'm looking to build a gaming PC with an Intel Core i5-3570K.
I'm in the UK so buying something off a UK website would be in £ GBP.
On amazon.co.uk the 3570K is £175.
Just out of curiosity i checked amazon.com website, and the processor is $220 which i assume is in USD?
after converting this to pounds it works out at £144.
So my question is why the £30 price drop for the exact same product? If i buy all my components from amazon.com i'll save hundreds of pounds won't I?
Thanks

The problem with this in particular would be ordering inside the US may be cheaper at the initial foresight, however, you need to factor in the importation fees as well as shipping. Depending on the product or the amount, customs could add on importation taxes called tariffs. This could and most definitely would make it more expensive than buying it locally and or regionally. Hope this helped. Good luck with your purchase. =)

maybe the VAT tax included ?

here is the cheapest in UK

http://www.aria.co.uk/SuperSpecials/Other+products/Intel+Core+i5-3570K+3.40GHz+%28Ivy+Bridge%29+Socket+LGA1155+Processor+-+Retail+?productId=49755&source=skinflint

in USA they dont include Taxes online :)
