Will this CPU work with my current Motherboard?

So if i'm upgrading from the amd 4100, which is would not bottleneck my hd 7950? The amd 8120 or the amd 8350?

It will for sure solve any bottleneck problems. Your motherboard does not support the 8350, the 8120 would be the best you can use, look in the link I posted above and it will tell you the exact CPU's you can use

Oh ok I see now, thank you very much for your responses. One more thing though, if i did get the 8120, would it be fine at stock speeds, or would i need to overclock?, because i have no idea how to do that lol. i was also wondering about cooling, people say it gets really hot, and i dont have any watercooling crap

The 8120 would be fine at stock speeds, overclocking might give you a few extra frames per second but only on CPU intensive games. The cooler that comes with the 8120 will work okay but it's probably going to be loud while gaming. You don't need a water cooler buy something like this zalman cooler. I use it with my fx 8320 and it keeps everything cool and quiet plus it's very easy to install.

sweet thanks, and that goes right on top of the cpu to replace the heatsink i assume?
