I found these 2 graphics cards that seem to be at very reasonable prices I thought I would put them on here and see if people thought they were good deals and maybe some of you can pick one up.

Here is the Gigabyte Radeon HD 7970 3GB $354.99 15 Dollars Cheaper than the next best place http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...

And here is the Sapphire Radeon Vapor-X HD 7950 OC 3GB $278.99 30 Dollars Cheaper than the next best place http://www.amazon.com/Sapphire-DL-DVI-I-SL-DVI-D-PCI-Ex...

More about : upgrade graphics cards good deals

I was really putting it on here to see if anyone else was interested in one of these, I already have a HIS 7950 IceQ X² overclocked on stock voltage at 1130 Core and 1450 Memory Clock. I was wondering if I should wait to upgrade and I was looking at the Devil 13, I know when it was new it had some driver problems, does it still?

Hi, I'd recommend spending another 30 to 50 dollars and pick up the 770 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168... it's an amazing card or if you want to save a bit of money pick up the 760 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168... both amazing nvidia cards (no driver problems). If you want to go with radeon definitely go with the http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168... as the above user said.
Hope this helped

hes not looking for buying advice, as he said a few posts ago, he's just trying to inform people of potentially good deals

I would personally wait till the HD8000 series is launched later this year. The 7950 and 7970 are 2012 cards, when compared to a cheaper GPU EG: GTX 760 2GB, the 7950 and 7970 will perform better but when games are launched this year and later the GTX 760 will perform better. If want the best performance buy a GTX 700 series now or wait till the 8950 and 8970 is launched, you will get better performance :)

If you still haven't made your decision, the sapphire 7970 is only $325 at the moment (it was $300 a week ago, which sucks) http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...
Also I've heard the gigabyte ones were voltage locked, and I know the sapphire isn't so you might want to look into that if you plan to overclock.

But those are using a similar architecture with the same lithography, so the chances of them being a huge improvement are pretty low. On the other hand, they could go the way of nvidia and release them at much lower price points or maybe even beef up the 7990 to the standards of the old ASUS ARES II. But nevermind my implications, they are definitately worth the wait.

Those are fairly good deals although ive seen the gigabyte 7970s as low as 285 before :p  if you get a regular 7950 you could clock it up to the 7970 speeds and only notice a -3% difference in fps and frametime (due to less stream processors)

hd 8000 was a rebrand of the 7000 series by a few companies trying to make a buck. the new 9000 series is an actual upgrade from amd- not a rebrand

Backspace i right.... HD 8000 is just a rebrand just like Nvidia 700 series is a rebrand of 600 series
HD 9000 will be the actual upgrade... with a rumor about a GTX Titan counter..
