Well for what is best you would want triple crossfire 7970 GHz edition cards, but that would cost close to $1500 for them alone.
The FX-8350 would be best to go for on the CPU side. Its around $180 I think. As for the GPU, do you have a price limit you want to stay in? That would be easier to advise you since no matter what anyone says, unless its quad sli/crossfire its not the best.

Well lets see, if you are really limited you may want to consider going with an APU. The a10-6800k for example. It won't do as well as the 7770 or the FX-6100 but it will perform very well. You can play all the modern games on it though at lower settings sometimes. The biggest plus to it is you can get your entire system counting CPU, GPU, Motherboard, RAM, Case, PSU, HDD, DVD Drive, Mouse, and Keyboard all for under $350. Would perform really well.
The second best idea I would recommend for you if you are planning to upgrade this in a little while would be to get a better graphics card and a worse CPU. For around $150 you could get an AMD Radeon 7850. If you want a good step up you can go for an AMD Radeon 7870 GHz Edition for close to $200. That would way outperform the 7770. After you do that I would say get an AM3+ motherboard and the absolute cheapest CPU for it which is around $50. After that wait until around December/Janruary when AMD will release the new Steamroller based CPU's and get the newest and best FX 8 core CPU probably for about $220.
Going this route you will have an alright system if a little slow at times until December but it will still be able to play all of your games without an issue, and when the time comes you will have that new CPU and it will way outperform the 7770 and FX-6100 combination by a long shot. You will save money in the long run too since you won't have as much invested in parts you will replace.
If you do not want to go either way I can search and put you together a system for around $400 and send you the links to all the stuff.

The reason I advised getting a better GPU and a worse CPU is completely with the idea upgrading in mind. When it comes to gaming as long as you have a good graphics card you will be fine to play those games. Even while using the $40 dual core Sempron processor.
Then when AMD releases its next series of CPU's that come out in about 5 months you can upgrade. The new CPU about to come out is expected to have around %20 better performance than the current top FX CPU. That is a major increase and you will not have any reason to upgrade again for a couple of years.
The reason to get the cheapest right now is to save costs. When you buy the new one, you will only be out $40+ the price of the new one. As opposed to being out $120+the price of the new one.
Again the cheapest one will still let you play all of your games and be fine. You will notice a performance boost when you upgrade, but you still will play games well over 30fps till then.
If you do not want to upgrade this way you can do it the other way, but this makes more sense to me.

Sorry, but your dad is wrong on both of those points. AMD is equally good with compatibility as Intel. In terms of how long you can use them, I have AMD CPU's and cards that are 10 years old and still work.
Intel is better than AMD in terms of performance though. The big reason for this is AMD made some really bad decisions when designing their CPU's in 2010-2011 that dropped their performance below Intel. At the same time in 2011 Intel made a really amazing group of processors and created much higher and unexpected performance. This gap between their performance is slowly closing. Currently the best AMD CPU competes with the best Intel i5 CPU's, and AMD has nothing that can challenge Intel i7 CPU's.
In December when AMD releases the next series of CPU's, they are expected to be way better. A big reason for this is because if they are not way better, AMD will probably go out of business and stop making CPU's. If they get the expected 20% performance boost in performance, then the best AMD CPU will probably compete with the worst Intel CPU.
Long story short, if you want AMD then wait. I personally hope you do, becaues I want as many people to buy AMD as possible so that the company doesn't go under, but if you do not want to wait get the Intel i5-4770k which after overclocked will outperform the best current AMD CPU. It will not outperform the best AMD CPU that is coming on at the end of the year, but it will outperform the current ones.

I honestly love AMD because one they are a underdog --in the CPU wise etc. You know what I mean.-- and two they are cheaper and I think they wil be a much better company. I think if the new CPU's are as good as they should be. They can be a much better company then intel.
Three I love their video cards, and I am a total AMD fan.
Thank you

haha I feel you. AMD back about 2003-2008 was unstoppable, and they destroyed Intel with their processors. They have became the underdog, but I hate to see them there. I really hope they fix their problems and get back up. Their customer service is really excellent and their prices and deals are great. I by far prefer them.
I currently have an Intel i3 in my system, but at the end of the year when AMD gets their new chips out I am going to upgrade. I can't wait

So wait, I am a little confused now. You dropped the CPU down to the 6300 but you still aren't going for the better GPU?
Also you are paying a crazy amount for your PC case. I mean if you like it that much then go ahead, but honestly I almost felt bad paying $70 for mine and it is really cool and looks great.

I have the green one of these.
http://apevia.com/productsInfo.asp?KEY=X-DMR4-NW-BK
It has a few places for attaching water coolers, but its main setup is just for air cooling. My system never breaks 50 degrees celcius though, not even with my 7850 overclocked.
But just pointing out, until you upgrade your CPU and GPU big time, even past this, you won't need water cooling. Water cooling is more needed on GPU's than CPU's, but even then you need a really high end unit to need that kind of cooling, and it seem to me at least the ones that like take up one of your case fan slots works really well.

Sorry we didn't mean cases. By coolers we meant the fan and heatsync on the graphics card. You did select a HIS graphics card, I am sure you will notice that HIS is a high quality one.
Your system looks good. I don't see a problem with anything you have listed. I haven't double checked the price on any of your parts, so make sure you have the best price but everything looks to be the price I would expect you to pay. Should be an awesome build. These are the only things I would suggest looking into.
Refurbrished Hard Drive. I have two 2TB refurbished drives and they perform wonderful. I got them for $80 and one for $60. They are not risky for being bad because the company has actually fully tested these drives before resell. Only consider if you want to try to save a little extra cash, otherwise no big deal.
CPU Cooler. The AMD CPU's don't come with very good coolers right off. The INTEL CPU's don't either honestly. So you may want to look into putting $15 into a decent cooler. Also may want to look into decent thermal paste.
Otherwise nothing looks bad here, it looks like an excellent system.

I have one around here. It has only 4 pipes and they don't touch it directly. But i think it should be fine. I need to just get a fan but my dad's water cooler has some. and I know you weren't i was just letting you know. And what company for the used hard drives?
Sounds like your dad will probably have everything you need haha.
As for the refurbished HDD's, there was a website called geeks.com that had them but they recently closed. Newegg has them though in the refurbished section.
My father is a techy too. I once asked his opinion on refurbished HDD's he pointed out to me that in many ways its better to buy them. A regular new hard drive has a chance to be defective and break because they have been mass produced and not all of them tested. A refurbished hard drive was found bad, had a problem that kept it from working and the company took the drive, tested it, found a problem, repaired the problem, then did tests to insure the drive is now functioning again. Since drives have a tendency to last a long time unless defective these drives tend to last longer as a result of now having no defects at all.

Haha, yeah he built his own computer once. But it had way to many fans and the result of that it was loud. So he had to convert everything in there to be able to hook up his water cooling adapters.
It leaked so his computer is now fried. But i get the case ^_^ LUCKY ME!! and for the CPU cooler ummm I don't know what he was going to do with it. And my dad is very techy lol. But not as me, well not at least in Apple history.
But I will go check them out. So Newegg checks the HDD's?

Lol yea sounds lucky for you, just be careful with the water. My case had a bunch of fans and was noisy too cause it came that way, and my rig doesn't do enough heat to need it, so I unplugged over half of them. Temps didn't even budge really, just the GPU gets a little hotter when in full use.
Haha you would beat me in Apple History, not my thing.
No Newegg doesn't. The defective drivs go back o Western Digital, Samsung, Seagate, or whoever made it and that company is the one who repairs it and fully tests it before sending back to Newegg for sell. I actually just bought a 3TB HDD for $75 off Newegg. That was yesterday, and they jacked the price up today on them lol but they still have good deals.

These ones I considered for a moment but wanted the most storage space possible.
