I'm new to PC gaming, and am looking to upgrade my PC to run more demanding games than it currently can. Here are my specs:

Pegatron Carmel Motherboard (http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/document?docname=c02...
Intel core i5 2400s Processor
6gb DDR3 1333 RAM
Intel HD Integrated Graphics
1TB 7200 RPM SATA hard drive
Internal ATX 250W Power Supply
ATX 16.14"x17.50"x15.28" Case

I am very new to PC hardware. What should I upgrade to improve gaming performance? Please use simple terms as I'm not very experienced at this. All input is appreciated.

You need a better power supply, and a graphics card. You need to give us a budget, as well.

For a budget I'd say around 500$-700$

Wow, that's a very good budget. A worthwhile upgrade is definitely viable with that.

I also forgot to ask what the model number of your prebuilt is, sorry. Can you tell me?

Also, what games do you particularly want to play? At what resolution, settings, and FPS?

At what resolution, settings, and frames per second?

I'd like to get it to high settings at anywhere between 30-60 frames, but Ill settle for medium settings if need be.

As for resolution the higher the better.
