I know my computer isnt the greatest but my parents bought it for me to do "only schoolwork" but i am curious if it will be able to run games like battlefield 3 (or other games that can be stressful on a computer) on medium settings or whatever well without having horrible FPS. The computer and specs are:

Pc: HP Pavilion 17-E020US 17.3" Laptop

Processor: Intel® Core® i3-3110M 2.40GHz 3MB L2 Cache Processor

Ram: 6GB DDR3 SDRAM

HDD: 750GB Hard Drive

Display: 17.3" diagonal display

OS: Windows 8 (64 bit)

You have the integrated Intel HD module so you can run newer games on very low and older games on higher settings (don't expect to do much gaming, you can play pre-2008 games alright). Here are Battlefield 3 and Skyrim for example:

you should be able to play older generation games and newer non graphic intensive games fine
The newer games wont look as nice
