Formatting Windows Vista-no disk

I have recovery disks on my Acer Aspire 5517. I want to format my disk and have a clean notebook. I can't figure out how to reformat the drive. Windows Vista was preloaded.

The recovery should give you the chance to format ... if not , use any windows vista DVD and format it with it ..
