About to pull the trigger on this build, any objections / advice? My budget's $2k and I'm using it for music production & gaming. I am a noob so please speak up if you see anything wrong

I'm planning to put the os and apps on the 128gb and my sample libraries on the 500gb. I've been told as a rule of thumb that it's good to separate these on two drives and it seems like it makes sense but i can't back it up with any real knowledge

It's good to separate them, but usually this is referred to in the case of saving wear on your SSD, If you need super fast access to your samples then it's a good setup, albeit a bit expensive for that part, if you can deal with a bit slower loading, you could save a few hundred...

Well, I have no problems with my samples on my drive now so I'll definitely consider it and look more into it. Thanks for the tip
