If you plan on playing on 1080p and a single monitor, preferably 120hz, you can get a build that will run anything at over 60 fps. For 1200$ you can have a 4th gen i5 build with a 770. Pretty fast, for a couple extra hundred $ you can get a much faster 780 build.

You are so wrong, yesterday I built 4 1200$ gaming rigs. The fact that you have to spend 2000+$ to get a gaming rig is so untrue. For 1200$ the OP can get an i5 4670K wiith a Hero motherboard, a GTX 770, and all the rest.

Here, look: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/1pEZp
For the price, this is a killer rig, and if you plan on playing at 1920x1080, then you'll get plenty of frames with this card.

I am not wrong , try playing on 3 screens and then say $1200 is enough ...

or try to play on 30 inch 2560x1600 monitor ...

there is allways a better Gaming PC .

$1200 is a single screen Acceptable Gaming machine.

I have 2 780s in SLI to game on three monitors, I know what it takes to game on higher resolutions, the OP is going for a single monitor, and a 770 is enough for that. He didn't mention high res or 3 monitors, and for that budget, that's just impossible.

He doesn't have to, his budget said so, and it's always 1 monitor unless stated otherwise.

If going for high res. or 3 monitors, he can start with a single 780 and only play on high settings, it'll give good fps, and then add a second 780 later on. For 1440p, one is enough.

If $1200+ was on the top, I'm assuming that's as far as the OP goes, anyways, single monitor, 1200 is fine, multi? 2 780s at least.

I know haha, it gets annoying, but sometimes it's fun because it starts this pattern like of a pyramid. :p Ah man, I think I'm bored and have too much time on my hands.

Just like I said, 1080p 120hz 770 is enough, if you can afford a 780 do go for it, it'll give 140fps in BF3 with 64 players on a mid sized map with your settings maxed out. If you don't goo too hard on AA you can easily get 120+ fps in the largest maps.
