Problems with memory after installing windows 7

When installing windows 7 I have to take out a stick of ram (I have 8g, 4gx2) otherwise it will not install, I get an error. So after installing windows 7 I put the stick back in and I start getting blue screens, any help?

What motherboard? What RAM slots are the RAMs installed? Have you tested diffeent slots?
