Need Help Installing OS On New SSD!

So I'm trying to clean install windows 7 on a new samsung pro SSD. However I keep receiving the windows error 0x80070057. This is ultimately not allowing me to install the OS. Reading around for around an hour or two now, I have tried a few methods including using diskpart, but receive the io device error when getting to the clean command. Any help would be wonderful! Thank you so much.

Thanks for the reply man. I'm getting super frustrated over here. The Motherboard is a
Gigabyte X79-UD3. I have AHCI on. And how would I got about do that? I tried both saving the driver to a flash drive and burning it to a cd, but when I go to add drivers during the OS installation they never show up!

During Windows install, try one of these drivers:

So I would just download those zip folders to a USB and then access usb during windows installation? Or would I unzip them first?

So it looked like everything was going to work...the os was installing. Then as soon as it finished the system rebooted and now says A Disk read error occurred. Any thoughts on how to proceed?

So everything looked like it was going well...the os was installing and right as it finished the computer restarted and now says that a disk read error occurred. Any thoughts on how to proceed?

Try removing the USB drive. I think tat it is connected to a USB 3 port.

Removed USB. Restarted and the same message popped up. Unplugged and replugged ssd, restarted, same message. >.<

Edit: Plugged SSD into Sata 2. Got the windows failed to start and pop in windows cd and "repair computer""

Edit 2: Windows CD no longer loading up...

Edit: What port is the DVD-ROM connected? It should be an Intel SATA 2 port.

Got CD to work, repair option didn't work.

Then try installing again, this time SSD connected to SATA 2.
Remove the USB after loading the driver.

Sure, you can try. If not working, it might be a SATA cable issue.

So when plugging it into the SATA 3, the boot gets stuck at the starting windows screen....hmmm

Connect it back to the SATA 2, install the Marvell driver and then connect the SSD to one of the Marvell SATA 3 ports. Test it there also.

Used a different SATA III cable....seems to work now with the SATA III port. I guess that new one was junked.
