Building my second computer since 6 years ago. I have mouse, keyboard, and OS.
Was wondering what's the best parts for a gaming rig on a $1,300 budget?

Thanks for your help!

Do you need a monitor?

1 monitor or 3? Believe it or not you can probably do it all for under 1300 and have a PC comfortably capable of running 3 screens.

I will be doing some graphic design/illustrating so was planning to run 2 monitors.

One thing to pay close attention to is whatever video card you choose may or may not have the necessary adapters to give you 3 DVI connections. The video card on my current PC required I order an HDMI->DVI adapter and a Mini-Display Port -> DVI adapter in order to get all 3 monitors setup properly. Those adapters can easily end up adding $50 to your total build.
