Thinking about getting my first exspensive computer, need some expert advice before i buy.

built a computer on iBuyPower.com and was wondering if the specs were decent or where i should upgrade. My budget is maxed out at around 1,500 so keep that in mind when offering suggestions thank you.

  1. Your are paying way too much for what you are actually getting.
    Are you confident enough to build a PC? It's quite fun, you save money and get much better stuff then what iBuypower is offering for that price. (You end up ordering parts one by one)

    Thanks for your message, I am not comfortable building my own because I have no exsperience doing so, so should I definitely stay away from iBuyPower? I didn't know I was over playing for what is was. My main goal is to just be able to play Rome: Total War 2, my favorite RTS game.

    iBuypower isn't at all bad, it's just the configuration you had was more expensive then it should have been (you also had stuff you didn't need and some wrong parts).
    You could watch a couple of Youtube guide when you are building (there are a lot of good guides) But if you feel pessimistic about it here is a High end setup from iBuypower:
