To just clarify and to bring out my opinion based on experience and knowledge, I would like to imply it in the gaming platform debate to the fathom towards pc and console gamers.
First off, spec wise the PC wins, meaning it is future-proof in terms of hardware.
Consoles are lower ranked in the range of specs, but can be more prioritized on about 60%-70% of their games resulting efficient game optimization defying no fragmentation.
PC can be more versatile due to the capabilities of a computer but is highly irrelevant to mention knowing the fact that the reason which started this long-term debate was based on comparable gaming.
Consoles have a higher probability in giving luxury in states of one's mentality given the ability of the console's compact and smaller case having more opportunities to bring around, and most commonly, plug in and play on the sofa, where as for me I prefer to play on a desk with a computer monitor.
Sure, pc can be played throughout the same environment, but on how many people would actually plug their pc to a tv and sit on a sofa to just play, when the most ergonomic field of pc gaming is on a desk, not only just for gaming but a pc would be expected to be utilized for other work that would make having a pc plugged in to a tv sit-on-sofa setup unnecessary.
Both pc and console have many identical or similar games, but their is no winner, but the user based on their preference on any ambiguous reason why it is preferred. Both platforms have different demographics, exclusives, and markets, which makes this whole debate foolish, cretinous, and obsolete.
Pc uses keyboard and mouse, console uses a controller. No winner, preference. A keyboard and mouse can be more accurate, have more function, a controller can be more ergonomic, have a unparalleled gameplay due to all the same specified consoles, but there is no clear winner. The winner is the ambiguous choice, and that choice is by the user.

The big reason where a pc or console gamer tries to dominate is when one spills out all their materialistic worship of values into pride to reinforce their defense of what they use.(Example: specs & game exclusives)

One tries to impose on another for using that system or why this system is better, but hey, not everyone is the same nor do they have the same desires and needs. And nothing different of using a pc or console makes one more superior or inferior. When it reaches that point, it just becomes even less mature than child's play.

I would advise that it just matters on the user which is you, and your choice is your superior to yourself, not to a material.
