ok everyone I am trying to get an idea of how to build case. This is a list of what I have parts wise so far http://pcpartpicker.com/p/1pCLN I would appreciate some suggestions on how to open it for maintanience I was thinking of epoxying the case together and then using the hinges to be able to swing the top open but that is going to look to messy. I'm basically trying to get as close as possible to the case in this picture http://www.google.com/url?sa=i&source=images&cd=&cad=rja&docid=xCVMmmLqdRmeTM&tbnid=Skxj_ghl5kPGlM:&ved=0CAgQjRwwAA&url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.cpu-galaxy.at%2Fcomplete_systems%2FIBM_PS2_model50Z_8550%2FIBM_PS2_model50Z_8550.htm&ei=StcFUu2RMsrqyQGF3IDgDw&psig=AFQjCNG46uOuJmCPJdIXUCjwlxdE2mKPqQ&ust=1376200906869224 as it was my very first computer. Including a use for the switch whatever it may be. mine will be comparatively longer I'm thinking somewhere between 40x20 inches maybe 30x15 I need to be able to put a blackice gen 2 560mm gtx extreme. Depending on what exactly I do to the top I was basically going to cut holes for the 140mm fans in the top of the case then use mod mesh in those holes put fan grills on top of the mesh and drill holes for the grills and fans and using m4 45mm screws I would go through the grills the fans and into the radiator effectively bolting it to the underside of the top of the case.

I suggest you download a program like Google Sketchup, and build the case in that and see if what you are planning is viable. In your head everything fits together easily, once you have an actual model you may realize what or how you want to do it may not be possible.

Also, dont buy drive bays and a motherboard tray, way too expensive.
Buy yourself a cheap-as case that has what you want, then gut it. This way you also get your front I/O, power/reset buttons and their cables, PSU mounting bracket plus fan mounts and a lot of scrap metal you can use.
