Optical drives don't matter, get the cheapest you can.
For most people, the only time you use an optical drive is for installing the OS and any old games you have lying around. Its performance isn't a concern.

yeah but the prices dont vary in large scale diff between cheapest and moderate priced drives are only 3 to 6 $ ..

in indian online shopping sites , all drives are between 900 to 1300 rs .( 15 $ to 22 $ ) .. few dollars wont matter here
