Do you believe that LAN PC's are worth it when it comes to gaming?

I want to buy this build, but I want to make sure it's nearly perfect. I want a system that can play most games at medium-high on 1920x1080 with a Mini-ITX motherboard (because of the gorgeous BitFenix Prodigy case), all of it around $1000 or less. Any improvements? I really need as much advice as possible!

Yes, I want to overclock

I do not want to use Radeon. I wish to only use GeForce

EDIT: On second thought, after thoroughly looking at the build (like I should have done before...), I like the idea of having a Radeon HD 7950
