What should I get ?? Wii U or a new new GPU ???

Hi everyone !

As the title says for Christmas I have the choice of a Wii U or a new graphics card.
Here's My Rig.

AMD Phenom II X4 965 @ 3.4 GHz
8.0GB Crucial Ballistix Sport 1600 MHz RAM
EVGA Geforce GTX 550 TI <- The part I wanna change.
500W OCZ CoreXStream PSU
ASRock N68-VS3 FX

I thought about the Wii U as I like some of the Nintendo exclusives. (Zelda and Sonic Lost World.)

Please advise me on the right decision !

Personally, Id go with a GPU upgrade. Never liked the Wii or U so much that Id want to buy one. A nice GTX660ti/760 or A/MD 7870/ in your machine will be a much better gaming experience IMO. You have a decent gaming CPU. Nearly every game available for mainstream consoles like PS3/Xbox 360/One will be available bar the odd title. PC is the way to go. I only enjoyed driving games in my PS3, but got bored with the crappy network errors, and sold it.

Well to put simply, the WiiU sales have been so poor they have had to lower the price so much Nintendo are now making a loss on everyone they sell..

Get a reasonable GPU (if you get a AMD 7970 you get several bundled games depending where you live) and get Steam and see what amazing indie games are cheap in the next Winter Sale in December...
I guarantee better satisfaction!
