Will this build be able to run games at low settings?

As the title states, I want to know if this build will be able to run games at low res, low settings. This is my friend's build, not mine. He has:
AMD Sempron 140 @ 2.7GHz
AMD Radeon HD 7670 1 GB GDDR5
5 GB Ram
i just wanted to know if he would be able to play BF3 with me, doesn't really matter about the frames

If it's medium and doesnt matter about frames (considering they are above atleast 20-25 fps)
Then sure , he can play with you.

My friend has an AMD Dual core (not sure which one) and an ati 4650. He can play bf3 in 720p with low settings at about 40 fps. Your friend should be able to run it

He won't be able to, he could try the demo and see if he can.

The main problem is his CPU, if he can change it, he would have a decent mid range PC

+1 I don't think many recent games can run on a single core CPU at all
