can CPU and motherboard catch fire?

Hi, i bought a fx 8120 (125w) and a ASUS M5A78LMLX3 (up to 95w), how u see i made a mistake, but the pc is going well, so more, this problems isnt seen at all. i had checked the temperature and is fine.
There is a msj when i turn on the pc saing "this motherboad not support this CPU ..." press f1 to continue. is there anyway to avoid press f1? And what do u recommend me to do with all this? Thx so much

I'd recommend you either get a new cpu or motherboard, and sell the old one. If I were u, I'd recommend upgrading the motherboard and selling it on ebay as "slightly used".
