I just put a new motherboard and hdd into my computer, and everything seemed to be going fine, until I booted up windows 7 and it blue screened after the initial loading screen, I tried running the the startup repair, but it found no problens. I also tried setting the bios settings to the recommended and default settings, but it still crashes in the same place every time. I'll update this post with the technical info from the bluescreen in a moment, I'm currently running windows repair again.

After running repair again, it told me a problem was found that cannot be fixed automatically.

Root cause found:
Unknown Bugcheck: Bugcheck 7e. Parameters = 0xffffffffc0000005, 0xfffff88000f43946, 0xfffff880031bca28, 0xfffff880031bca280.

I tried that and it did something, now when I try to boot it up it still bluescreens, but it shows onlt one error message and restarts itself after 1-2 seconds. I ran the system repair again, and this time it found a new root cause. "Boot critical file e:\windows\system32\drivers\vmbus.sys is corrupt." It did not repair it though.

It also now reads:
Unknown Bugcheck: Bugcheck 7e. Parameters = 0xffffffffc0000005, 0xfffff88000f43946, 0xfffff880033507a28, 0xfffff880033507280.
