ASrock mobo arent good?..

Hello,
So i had decided this config for my pc approx 1000$.
Processor : i7-3770k
Ram:2x 4gb Kingston
Mobo:ASRock z77 extreme4
cabinet:CoolerMaster CM Storm scout 2
hd: 1TB Seagate 7200rpm 64mb
psu:antec 600w
gpu:gtx 650 ti boost

I visited the shop new my home and they reseller who assembles pc , said that asrock is not a good option to go .. So now what mobo should i choose?

Plus he offered me this for 920$ , hp brand desktop:
1. 18.5 LED screen
2. 4gb ram
3. 1tb seagate 7200rpm 64mb
4. Wired Mouse and keyboard
5. i7-3770
6. Nvidia 640 or 610 he is not certain about what will be given
7. DVD Writer

should i go with the hp desktop ,
or should i stick with my own plan?

Hi, that reseller just want to make more money selling that PC to you, he does not know what he is talking about,period!
Your build will totally destroy the HP Build. Asrock motherboards are very good quality and value for money. Go with your build and enjoy it while laughing at that guy talking absolute rubbish

Thankyou .. i really felt like rubbish that time .. cuz since last monday i am hunting down this parts on newegg and reading articles on tomshardware..
What do you think about my spec? is it a nice gaming rig?

You're welcome, It's a nice system, just wondering why you opting for the LGA 1155 build and not LGA 1150, costs? In any case you could probably get a faster GFX Card, unless you play at lower resolutions.

i would be playing at 1280*720 mostly .. but i wouldnt mind buying a gfx card if they are better...
And there are some limits imposed by the intel people on the i7-4770k overclocking(the haswell , LGA 1150) ..
If one is not experienced in overclocking, we can concluded that the 4770 would be a better processor than 4770k

At that resolution the 650 ti boost will be just fine, what is your budget on a GFX Card? Performance wise there's nothing really in it, 3770k vs 4770k, to be honest.

yea agreed to that ..
cuz even if i buy a LGA 1150 motherboard and a i7-4770k then what are the chances that intell will launch a better processor in future for the same chip size i.e. LGA 1150?? so it kinda doesnt matter as long as one buys 3770k or 4770k..
My budget would be 200$ to 250$

Well there is broadwell but performance increase over Haswell will probably be non exsistent, or the same as haswell over Ivy, not worth it.

Both cards would be great and the 760 would be the best for future proofing if you maybe decide to upgrade to a 1080p monitor. But for now the 650 ti is more than capable of handling any game out there at 1280*720 i just mentioning it.

The problem is that i am getting a hard time finding gtx760 .. someone had recomended it to me on this forum it self in the graphics section..
also that the gtx 760 is about 310$ (if you convert the rupees price into dolors)
and gtx 660 amp is about 261$ (if you convert the rupees price into dolors)

you know any other website rather than newegg that would ship to india?

budget in rupees would be 15,000 rs
I have heard that nvidia is better than amd gpu.. any way i would go with what ever you recomend ..

If the 650 ti boost is the same price as the 7850 i linked, i would recommend the 7850 as it has a wider bus, 256-bit vs 128-bit that would give you better performance over the 650 ti boost at higher resolutions, and AMD's drivers are getting better and better especially with the upcoming Catalyst 13.8 WHQL drivers. But only if it's the same price.

I have one dealer who is selling it for 18600 but it is of Zotac i guess... does the brand matter ??
i would rather select n660 on amd i got a bad gut feeling bout the amd lol ..
