I want just my OS on my SSD, but everything else installs there as well.

I only have a 64GB solid state drive, so I'm trying to minimize the amount of data on it. I would like everything else to run from my 1TB physical drive. I read somewhere to edit the registries to change the default install path, which I did, but everything is still installing right to the SSD.

Is there a guide on how to keep my files and my OS separate?

When installing other programs, most allow a custome option and allow you to designate a spot where to install, set up a directory on the platter drive called 'Programs' or something of the like and then install them there
